Find Your Perfect Pitch
Wake up on the golden shores of a Cornish beach, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. Our beachside pitches are the perfect place to pitch up for an adventure! Each pitch is within walking distance of the beach (our furthest pitches are only 250m away!) and some pitches even come with a sea view. Many of our pitches now come equipped with electric vehicle chargers too, so you have everything you need for a relaxing break. Explore our variety of different pitch options below.
Beachfront Pitches
These ‘gold dust’ pitches are positioned right on the beach, making every day feel like you’re living in paradise. Wake up and step out onto the warm sand, and end the day watching the stars twinkle over the sea. Complete with electric hookups and communal water points, these pitches are the largest on the park, and book up fast! Available between April and September, these pitches are only available for a Saturday arrival and must be booked in multiples of one week. This is camping like you’ve never experienced before!
Premium Plus Pitches
Close to the beach, these popular pitches sell out fast. Extra wide with electric hookups and communal water points, these pitches are perfectly positioned just a few steps from the sand, amenity block, and the HubBox restaurant. Available from April - September, these pitches are only available for a Saturday arrival and must be booked in multiples of one week. These pitches have plenty of room for your camping setup; great for families and groups.
Premium Pitches
Closer to the beach than our electric pitches, these extra wide electric pitches have plenty of room for accommodation plus outdoor eating, activities and additional gazebo or tent. You’ll also have access to a communal water point between pitches at regular intervals, using fresh water from underwater springs, plus ample waste disposal. Some of these pitches come with on-pitch EV charging (find out more in our tariff). These pitches are only available for a Saturday arrival and must be booked in multiples of one week.
Standard Pitches
Still within walking distance of the sea, these pitches come with a private electrical hookup and access to communal water points between pitches at regular intervals, using fresh water from underwater springs, plus ample waste disposal. If you wish to be close to the main facilities, check out our Electric Pitches on fields A and C. Some of these pitches come with on-pitch EV charging (find out more in our tariff). During peak holidays, these pitches are only available for a Saturday arrival and must be booked in multiples of one week. Please note, that in the W Field, stays are from Wednesday to Wednesday during peak dates. At all other times, short breaks are welcomed.
Non-Electric Pitches
For an unplugged and budget-friendly experience, our non-electric pitches are perfect for guests who have their own power or just who want to escape from it all. You’ll have access to communal water points plus ample waste disposal, while enjoying countryside views and beach access. During peak holidays, these pitches are only available for a Saturday arrival and must be booked in multiples of one week.
Touring Rallies
We host a range of touring rallies of all types and sizes that return to us year after year. Our spectacular beachfront location provides rallygoers with pitches and luxurious facilities. Please get in touch with our Reception team to find out more.
EV Charging Pitches
Electric vehicle chargers are now available for a selection of our pitches, making charging on holiday even easier! These pitches have a charge of £1 per night, and you just pay for what you use on top of that. (Please note, that the charging of electric vehicles is strictly prohibited except via dedicated electric vehicle charging points). Please refer to our park map to find out where these are located.

Award Winning Amenities
Shower and Toilet Blocks
Our four amenity blocks have everything needed to bring a little bit of luxury to your stay. Each block provides unlimited hot water, a selection of private bathrooms, fully accessible bathrooms, dishwashing areas, and waste disposal points. Our most recently updated block (pictured) includes modern, fully enclosed shower and toilet rooms, for added comfort and privacy - as well as outdoor showers for rinsing off your sandy gear after the beach!
Waste Disposal
We have ample waste disposal, chemical disposal and grey water disposal around the park, as well as a Motorhome service point.
On-Site Shop and Bakery
Located next to reception, our shop and bakery is packed full of everything you need for your holiday. Discover a selection of fresh produce, frozen food, soft and alcoholic drinks, cupboard essentials, toiletries, beachwear and those all-important souvenirs to take home. There's also a bakery serving up fresh pastries and coffee every morning.
Bus Stop
Right outside of our entrance, you can find a handy bus stop with links to local towns and beaches. Plus, if you take the bus to St Austell train station, you can travel all over Cornwall and leave your car at our park!

Find out about what's happening on the park at our information points! There is one outside every toilet and shower block so you can keep up to date on everything happening on your doorstep.
Launderette
Our on-site launderette is stocked with a selection of washing machines, dryers, irons and ironing boards. The washing machines take 50ps and £1 coins, while the dryers are card operated.

Are your beachfront pitches available all year?
As much as we would love to have all year-round sunshine, our beachfront pitches are only available at certain times of the year to ensure the best experience in line with weather conditions!
Our usual availability for these pitches is between April and September - please call or email us to find out more.
What time can I occupy my pitch?
Pentewan Sands Holiday Park Camping and Touring pitches must be vacated by 10.30am, and can be occupied from 12pm on the start day of your holiday.
Charges will be incurred for a late check-out that has not had prior arrangement by the park.
How far away are the major offsite attractions?
Some of the UK's biggest attractions are within a short drive or bus ride of Pentewan Sands Holiday Park attractions. You can find out more about local attractions and places to visit here.

- The Lost Gardens of Heligan is approximately 2 miles away.

How far is Pentewan Sands Holiday Park from the beach?
Our holiday park is located on its own private beach! All of our accommodation options are within walking distance of the sea. If you're looking for our a luxurious beachside stay, our popular beachfront pitches and beach houses are located directly by the beach.
What is the power supply to the electric pitches?
The pitches run on 240 volt/16 amp power supply.
Do you take bookings for rallies?
Yes we do! Each year a number of rallies return to us. The Seahorse Restaurant and Bar, and our marquee both make ideal venues for large groups.

What size are the pitches?
The pitches at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park are generous in size and are an average of 13 meters square. Book online to see the actual size of your pitch or call our reservations team on +44 (0) 1726 843 485 to discuss your requirements.
We do ask that all our prospective guests check the size of their tent, motorhome, or touring caravan before booking to select the most appropriate pitch.
Do you have any fully-serviced pitches?
Our touring pitches cater for all sorts of accommodation options, and, being beside the beach, the combination of soil and sand makes them firm and suitable for most vehicles. While we don't have any pitches that have fully serviced facilities (e.g. TV charger, private water point/drainage), we do provide pitches with electric hookup. We also have a variety of shared water units, drainage areas, and grey water disposal points across the park. If you have an Electric Vehicle, you'll be please to know that we also have on-pitch EV charging on many of our pitches! Find out more about our pitches here.
Do you have any EV charging for touring pitches?
We are one of the only holiday parks to provide on-pitch EV charging! Simply hook up and unwind, recharging your own batteries while your vehicle takes care of itself. View our park map to see which pitches have EV charging facilities.
Are you dog friendly?
As much as we love pets, our park is not dog friendly.
