South West Tourism Awards

Pentewan Sands wins Silver at the prestigious South West Tourism Awards.

Pentewan Sands has won Silver in the Holiday Park and Village Category at the 2016/17 South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

The glamourous event was held in the brand new Lansdown Suite of Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. Awards were presented by ITV news presenter Kylie Pentelow and Adventurer Alastair Humphreys, with an inspiring opening address by travel journalist and Chair of Family Holiday Association Alison Rice.

With entries up 23% of the previous year, Pentewan Sands Holiday Park was up against Holiday Parks from across the South West – from the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall in the west to Bournemouth, Dorset and Salisbury in the east, and from Kingsbridge in the south to Bristol, Bath and Gloucester in the north.

Graham Brown, General Manager at Pentewan Sands commented: “All entrants in the South West Tourism Excellent Awards underwent a rigorous judging process, including a mystery shopper visit, and we are delighted to have been awarded the Silver in our category.”
