FAQs about our touring pitches and holidays.

We do ask that all our prospective guests check the size of their tent, motorhome, or touring caravan before booking to select the most appropriate pitch. If you are unsure, please pop us an email and we can answer any questions that you may have: info@pentewan.co.uk - you can also call us on +44 (0) 1726 843 485 to discuss your requirements.

Our usual availability for these pitches is between April and September. To view availability, enter your preferred dates here or get in touch with us directly.

Yes! We are one of the only holiday parks to provide on-pitch EV charging.

Many of our touring pitches and holiday homes are now equipped with an EV charger. Simply hook up and unwind, recharging your own batteries while your vehicle takes care of itself.

Each on-pitch EV charger is managed by Monta Charge and you pay through the app for what you use (with the exception of The Retreat and our Car Park which both use the Project EV app). Our EV chargers produce 7kW per hour and are charged at 70p per kW.

Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is strictly prohibited except via our dedicated electric vehicle charging points. Please note, any use of electricity intended for your accommodation for charging electric vehicles will incur a fee of £35 and you may be asked to leave the park.

While we don't have any pitches that have fully serviced facilities (e.g. TV charger, private water point/drainage), we do provide pitches with electric hookup. We also have a variety of shared water units, drainage areas, and grey water disposal points across the park. You may arrive on the park and occupy your pitch from 12pm. Please be prepared that you may be asked to leave and return at 12pm if you arrive earlier than this time.

We do not accept any arrivals after dusk or any arrivals in the dark due to health and safety reasons. If you arrive after Reception has closed and it is still light enough to pitch, security will be available to check you in. No pitching is allowed between 10pm and 9am.

Please respect other guests by not allowing children to run across or play on any pitches that are not yours.

Guests receive complimentary entry to The Beach Club’s indoor swimming pools, using the wristbands provided on arrival. The swimming pools are open daily from 9am – 1pm (last entry at 12.15pm) and 2pm – 6pm (last entry at 5.15pm), on a first come, first served basis. We reserve the right to prohibit any fire pits or BBQ’s during prolonged periods of dry weather or droughts. Disposable BBQ’s must not be disposed of in bins whilst still hot as they will cause fires and damage to property for which you will be charged as this is a health and safety risk.

If using BBQs on the beach, please ensure the BBQ is raised up off the ground, and do not bury any hot ashes or coals in the sand as they cause serious injury to other beach users (a common injury on the beach is severe burns from stepping on sand with hot ash in it).

To respect the privacy of our guests and staff, drones are prohibited anywhere on the site.

We reserve the right to use drones periodically for commercial or marketing purposes while respecting the privacy of guests and visitors.

If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, it is your responsibility to make us aware before purchasing food or drink on our park. Allergen information is available on request at all venues. What are the choices available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of your personal data? The law gives you a number of rights in relation to your personal data and our use of it. You have the right:

  • to ask us not to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes;
  • to ask to see what personal data we hold about you and to find out about the way that we process the data (and in some circumstances, you can ask us to provide a copy to a third party);
  • to ask us to correct or update any personal data which is inaccurate;
  • to ask for personal data to be deleted in some (but not all) circumstances where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it;

We sometimes receive requests from media outlets to film or photograph on our park. We also undertake our own promotional filming and photography. Every effort is made to ensure filming does not intrude into or affect any activity and that it is clear to guests that filming/ photography is taking place. We also share images/videos in our promotional materials that are provided by visitors, with their permission.

We will ask your permission to use your image or photos/videos you have taken for promotional purposes and will assume this permission is ongoing until informed otherwise. If you wish to be removed from marketing materials, please contact us directly with the information and we will do our best to facilitate your request. If the image appears in printed materials, it may take longer to remove from publication.

Under GDPR guidance, a photograph of a person or persons who are identifiable (i.e. you can clearly see their face and therefore identify them) constitutes personal data. Anonymous shots where no individual faces are distinguishable fall outside the GDPR scope. To protect the identities of our guests, we ensure that no faces are visible in the images used or shared unless consent is given by those photographed for their faces to be used. In the event that faces are fully visible in any materials, permission will be sought prior to the use of your image in marketing materials. When any consent is given, we will assume this consent is ongoing until informed otherwise. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us directly.

In the event of an image without a visible or recognisable face in the images (e.g the photo is of an indistinguishable crowd or the backs of heads) we may use this image for marketing purposes, and we will, where possible, ask permission to use your image. If you wish to be removed from marketing materials, or have an image removed that you have taken, please contact us directly with the information and we will facilitate your request. If the image appears in printed materials, it may take longer to remove from publication, but please be assured that it will be removed as soon as we are able.

We will not accept responsibility if, contrary to your wishes, you appear on film or in photographs unknown to us, and we are unable to make any financial award or payment of any kind.

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information to third-parties other than those trusted to assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Where you have stayed with us, we may send you periodic marketing emails or targeted ads after your departure, with the option to opt out and unsubscribe from any marketing materials at any time. Our emails and communications may include news, offers and information relevant to our holiday park and facilities. We may also send you printed materials via post, including our brochure. You can unsubscribe to these marketing communications at any time by contacting us direction by phone or email.

When subscribing to our online newsletter, your name and email will be transferred to our e-newsletter provider (Mailchimp). Your details will be securely stored on their server and you may unsubscribe at any time, at which your details will be deleted.

We sometimes use our guest's images online and in print marketing. We will always ask for permission before using these images, and if you change your mind at any time please contact us to cease using them. We may also take photos and videos on the holiday park and around our facilities for marketing promotion. We will always do our very best to obtain permissions for anyone in the images and videos, or blur/cut out any faces. or identifying features. If you see a photo of video that you have been included in and wish not to be, please contact us to remove it.

When completing a website enquiry form or brochure request form via our website or by telephone, your details will be added to our database and we may use your details to send you a copy of our brochure and/or email marketing unless you tell us otherwise. We will always give you the option to op-out and unsubscribe, and if you have difficulty with this process please contact us.

When completing a form or emailing us with an enquiry, we will use your contact details solely for the purpose of responding to your query. Your email will then be deleted from our server.

We may make changes to this policy from time to time. If we make any significant changes to this policy that impact the way in which your personal data is treated, we will post the changes on this page or, where we feel that the changes are really significant, we may contact you directly.
