February

World Pasty Championships
St Austell 28 February
2015 dates subject to confirmation. As the Eden Project is based in Cornwall, our World Pasty Championships will celebrate the traditional Cornish pasty recipe, as well as some more unusual varieties.

March

Oyster Gathering & Seafood Harvest
Falmouth 27 March – 29 March
A small local oyster festival. Join the local oyster men on their last weekend of the season and sample fresh seafood cooked by local and internationally recognised chefs.

April

Trereife Easter Food and Craft Fair
Penzance 03 April – 06 April
Inspiring tours of Trereife House, local chef’s demons, a delectable selection of locally produced food and drink, exquisite art and crafts to browse and buy, children’s Easter Egg Hunt and live music performances…plus much more.

Charity Garden Open Weekend at Tregothnan
Truro 11 April – 12 April
We are delighted to announce that 2015’s chosen charity is Cancer Research. Tickets for the event are limited to ensure the UK’s largest garden opening is a pleasurable experience.

Trevithick Day
Camborne 25 April
An impressive display and celebratory convoy of vintage steam powered vehicles, model exhibitions and fairground rides making it a great day out for the whole family.

Porthleven Food Festival
Helston 25 April
This year’s Porthleven Food and Music Festival is taking place on Saturday the 26th of April around the picturesque harbour of Porthleven, west Cornwall and will be officially opened at 10am by Festival patron and celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson.

Helston Flora Day
Helston 08 May
The famous Flora Day celebration is believed to be pre-Christian and at one time during the Victorian era was banned as being “a drunken revelry.” Dancing begins at 7am. A great family day out.

St Ives Literature Festival
St Ives 09 May – 16 May
Eight days of literature in St. Ives featuring book launches, poetry and prose readings, live music, comedy acts, and creative writing workshops.

Fal River Festival
Falmouth, Truro, Roseland 22 May – 31 May
Celebrating life on the river Fal this is a community festival encompassing over 150 events, including a fish festival, gig racing, swimming, wildlife walks and lots more.

June

Royal Cornwall Show
Wadebridge 04 June – 06 June
Cornwall’s showcase since 1793 and a fascinating glimpse into rural life. Apart from the livestock judging, there is the famous flower tent, show jumping and a fast and furious inter-hunt relay. 

Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
Falmouth 12 June – 14 June
A fantastic free festival of maritime music and a great way to soak up the true atmosphere of Falmouth’s seafaring past with performances by dozens of groups from all the UK and beyond.

Golowan Festival
Penzance 26 June – 28 June
Penzance community celebration of the traditional Feast of St. John. The festival has a packed programme of artists in celebration of music, performing arts and theatre. Events include a fireworks display on the prom, Mazey Day, spectacular parades through the streets and a host of street entertainment.

Polo On The Beach
Watergate Bay 26 June – 28 June
Polo on the Beach weekend event takes place at Watergate Bay near Newquay, with the promise of speed and excitement featuring some of the country’s top professional polo players.

Rock Oyster Festival
Wadebridge 11 July
A midsummer celebration of food, music and art, taking place at the stunning venue of 17th century Dinham House overlooking the Camel Estuary near Wadebridge.

Stithians Agricultural Show
Stithians 13 July
Stithians Agricultural Show is held on the large showground between Truro and Helston where thousands descend to enjoy musical entertainment, food courts, craft stalls, a fairground, and animals of all sorts including rare breeds, a dog show and dog agility competitions

RNAS Culdrose Air Day
Helston 30 July
It’s your chance to see behind the scenes of the Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Navy’s flying force on the only day of the year when the public can step into the world of Culdrose and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a working military Naval Air Station.

Boardmasters Surf, Skate & Music Festival
Newquay 05 August – 09 August
Surf, skate & music festival situated across two legendary locations featuring the best in action sports including ASP World Tour Surfing and a laid back music festival.

Falmouth Week
Falmouth 07 August – 16 August
Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days, and a lively programme of shoreside events.

Newlyn Fish Festival
Newlyn 31 August
Celebrating all things fishy in Britain’s premier fishing port where you can satisfy your appetite with the best seafood you’re likely to find anywhere and help to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Newquay Fish Festival
Newquay 11 September – 13 September
Showcasing Newquay Harbour, the festival attracts thousands of visitors to sample delicious fish dishes, watch local chefs rustle up amazing food and enjoy the entertainment.

St Ives September Festival
From the 12th to the 26th September
An annual music and arts festival which features a host of events across town.

Great Cornish Food Festival (Cornwall Food & Drink)
Truro 25 September – 27 September
Truro’s Lemon Quay will transform into foodie heaven for three days of eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment as the festival celebrates the food revolution that has taken place in Cornwall over the past 12 years.

Falmouth Oyster Festival
Falmouth 08 October – 11 October
Packed with cookery demonstrations by leading local chefs, oysters, seafood, wine and local ale, sea shanties, and marquees brimming with Cornish produce.

St Austell Torchlight Carnival
St Austell 14 November
Marking the beginning of winter, a one day celebration in St Austell, the china clay capital of Cornwall. Live bands, stalls, music and dance and the Torchlight Carnival parades through the town.

Padstow Christmas Festival
