Stylish new look for The Seahorse

By Pentewan Sands on the July 20th, 2016 in

Stylish new look and new menu at Seahorse restaurant

The Seahorse restaurant at popular Pentewan Sands Holiday Park in south Cornwall has been given a fresh new look by interiors experts 3idog and contractors i-Build, St Austell, Cornwall.

To celebrate summer, there’s also a brand new locally-sourced menu from talented chef, Andy McCreedy. Andy has created a set of dishes which focus on quality, offering guests something special in a unique setting.

This 200-cover relaxed restaurant has always been a family-friendly hub for guests and non-residents alike and taking inspiration from the sea, the new interior features bespoke wallpaper and light, fresh colours.

The feel is distinctly calm in mood to ensure diners can take time to relax and enjoy freshly cooked dishes with a view of Mevagissey Bay.

Steve Coombes, Project Manager at 3idog Interior Design, said: “The Seahorse is clearly the hub of the holiday park at Pentewan, offering food and entertainment for families staying at the park as well as locals, but it was tired and in need of some updating. We have worked with the team to create a clean and fresh look, making it fun and different to anything else you might have seen before.

“Working with St Austell based building contractors i-Build and St Ives design company Meor, we have created various little touches including a bespoke wallpaper for the restaurant which reflects the sea to make the interior special. We are really pleased with the result, and we hope that people visiting in the future can really enjoy it.”

Carla Lamb, Marketing Manager at Pentewan Sands, said: “We are delighted with the outcome of the refurbishment, it has exceeded all of our expectations from when the plans were put together. We hope that people will be able to come and enjoy the area for either entertainment, a meal from our new menu or just a social drink while enjoying the views.

“We continue to invest into the park to keep up with demands, and taking on board customer feedback, which is what makes the park popular year in year out.”

The Seahorse is open to everyone, all year round, with entertainment and events on during the year. The area is also available for hire for private functions and other events.
