URGENT INFORMATION FOR GUESTS
Firstly, we’d like to thank you for your patience. This has been and continues to be a difficult time for many.
As you will have been aware, we were due to open for the 2020 season on Friday 27th March. With the fast-developing Coronavirus situation, this date has been under review for some time whilst we received and acted upon the various updates from Public Health England, adjusting and reducing our operation to best ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and guests whilst we adhered to Government advice.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and guests are paramount to us, but we have always strongly recognised our responsibility in our local community. We have been working hard to protect the jobs and income of our valued team over the past weeks, whilst also recognising the importance of supporting our local suppliers and economy. With the Government’s latest support package we feel this is still possible in the short term whilst enabling us to postpone opening to ease the burden on local health services and facilities.
Therefore, following the Government’s announcements on 20th March we have made the decision to postpone the opening of the park from Friday 27th March until further notice.
We understand that we have many guests that were due to arrive with us very soon, so we will be contacting these guests, first to explain the situation and then to offer alternative dates or a full refund. Those that are due to stay with us in the coming months will receive an update from us in due course. Please bear with us whilst we do this.
We really appreciate the support of our customers and the local community in this extremely difficult time. Please know that we intend to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so, so we can get back to doing what we do best, supporting local staff, the Cornish economy and providing a memorable stay for our guests.
Our Bookings Team are extremely busy with calls and emails at this time. We thank you for patience whilst we respond to messages and assist guests with their holiday plans.
We are monitoring the situation carefully and will provide an update if anything changes.
