Looking Back on Our 80th Year!

Since our grand opening in 1945, we've welcomed generations of happy families for a holiday in Cornwall at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park. January 2025

This year, we welcomed the arrival of Stingi's Fusion Restaurant.

With panoramic sea views across Mevagissey bay from sunrise to sunset, this exciting addition to our park features a stunning cocktail bar and intimate restaurant, where immersive Asian décor meets a soundtrack of sizzling flavours 🌊

February 2025

A brand new range of holiday homes, the Wimbledon, arrived on the park!

These three bedroom homes are complete with a rare feature - two separate shower rooms! The first is the family bathroom, accessible via the main corridor. The second is in the en-suite inside the master double bedroom.

March 2025

The Seahorse underwent a change with new menus, and some nostalgic entertainment, including our hugely popular bingo and karaoke nights!

April 2025

We had a choc-tastic Easter Egg Hunt over half term week 🐣 with full sized eggs hidden around the park for lucky children to find! Hedgerows, tractors, the park and the beach were all locations involved in the hunt - and we loved watching you all running around finding them!

May 2025

We marked 80 years of VE day with a special street party on our sun terrace 🍰 lots of local people and holidaymakers joined us for afternoon tea, cakes, Pimm's and pots of tea!🇬🇧

With VE day and our grand opening occuring in the same year (1945) this was a very special celebration for us at Pentewan Sands.

Over the May Bank Holiday, we welcomed the return of CMC Riviera Run! 🚘

This prestigious festival celebrated their 30th anniversary! Bigger than ever before, we had a diverse collection minis, classic cars, exhibitions, displays, entertainment, music, events and so much more!

We then had one of the hottest May Half Terms ever, and after all the entertainment happening on the park, many of you treated yourselves to our brand new Whippy Ice Creams and fresh fruit Smoothies in the Lower Deck Coffee Shop! A great addition for summer!

Summer 2025

We had the busiest and hottest summer we've ever had!🌞 Many of you partied with us during our karaoke nights, and some of you even won big cash prizes and holidays for 2026 at our prize bingo! 🥇🏆 We gave away 8 holidays for 2026, and over 50 vouchers for food and drink in our multiple venues! Next year, we're planning similar prize giveaways too, so if tou didn't win this time, we hope to see you in 2026 for another go!

We also welcomed children's entertainment from the likes of Screech Owl & Animal Sanctuary, Mark's Arc, Emazdad, comedians, magicians and more!

September 2025

The first ever music festival came to Pentewan Sands! Pentunes, brought to you by Tunes in the Dunes, was a one off music experience right on our beach. Athough the rain came in on Saturday, there's nothing like a party on the sand and everyone made the most of it!

October 2025

Our final month of the season brought autumnal vibes, tasty food, suprisingly warm weather, and our Halloween Spooktacular over October Half Term!

With more entertainment and activites than before, including our kids' disco, spooky bingo and karaoke with Halloween hits, it was the perfect way to end our 80th year 👻

Winter 2025

Now that the season has finished, we've been busy putting our exciting plans into action!

In 2026, we'll be saying goodbye to 'The Seahorse' for good and welcoming a brand new space in its place.Get ready for delicious food and drink, entertainment, and a fun, beachside atmosphere! Perfect for families, couples, celebrations and drinks with friends, this space will be a hub of seaside holidays and positive vibes!

We’re also welcoming some brand new additions to the park and the return of an old favourite! Get ready for more activities, entertainment and menus as we expand our offering for 2026.
